Tree Oyster (Pleurotus ostreatus)
The Culture: Drawn from our proprietary liquid culture, this robust Tree Oyster strain bridges the gap between wild resilience and indoor commercial yields.
The Profile: Exhibiting slightly darker, thicker caps than standard Pearl Oysters, the Tree Oyster provides a meatier bite and a more pronounced, woodsy flavor profile. It is fantastic roasted, grilled, or shredded as a vegan meat alternative.
History & Benefits: Foraged from hardwood forests for centuries, this strain retains its wild vigor. It is an excellent source of dietary fiber, potassium, and antioxidants, historically utilized to support healthy digestion and systemic vitality.
Fruiting Conditions: Exceptionally versatile. While it fruits prolifically on indoor supplemented hardwood blocks (HWFP), it is also highly recommended for outdoor cultivation on sterilized oak or maple logs. Prefers temperatures between 55°F – 70°F.
