Princess of Pearl Oyster (Pleurotus ostreatus)

The Culture: Drawn from our proprietary liquid culture, the Princess of Pearl strain has been selectively bred to yield visually stunning, perfectly uniform flushes.

The Profile: A more delicate and refined variation of the classic Pearl Oyster. The caps are incredibly pristine and symmetrical, making it a favorite for high-end culinary plating. It delivers a deeply savory, slightly nutty flavor that sears beautifully in butter and garlic.

History & Benefits: Bred specifically to meet the high aesthetic standards of the modern restaurant industry while retaining the robust nutritional profile of the Pleurotus genus. It is packed with ergothioneine, essential amino acids, and immune-supporting beta-glucans.

Fruiting Conditions: Performs best on supplemented hardwood sawdust (HWFP) or pasteurized straw. Enjoys fruiting temperatures between 60°F – 75°F with high humidity (85-90%) and excellent fresh air exchange.
